The real mint in Madrid. The first heist is fiction. This photograph is the building as it stands, not a set still.
The Professor's first plan targets the Royal Mint of Spain, the Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre. The second targets the Bank of Spain. The series was shot in Spain and also in Italy, Thailand, Panama, Denmark and Portugal. This is not a street address for a scene.
